Candidates for enrollment in this study program must have completed a four-year secondary school. During their studies, students acquire knowledge and competences in various areas of mathematics and informatics, which enable them to learn the necessary mathematical methods and IT systems at all levels of integration and in a wide range of relevant problems. Students also acquire knowledge from a group of pedagogic-psychological and methodical-didactic subjects and during their studies perform methodical practice in mathematics and informatics in elementary school. During the internship, students follow the preparation and delivery of the teacher-mentor&#8217;s classes and independently prepare and realize a certain number of teaching hours. Depending on the choice of elective subjects, students have the opportunity to acquire additional knowledge in various areas of mathematics, informatics or teaching to mathematics<\/h3>\n<p>Diploma holders are able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>formulate and solve problems in general mathematics at the level of typical introductory mathematics courses,<\/li>\n<li>formulate and solve problems from the basics of various areas of theoretical mathematics, such as analysis, algebra and geometry, as well as the basics of applied mathematics.<\/li>\n<li>Learning outcomes specific to computer science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Diploma holders are able to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>effectively use operating systems, as well as computer applications in the field of word processing, spreadsheet calculations and business graphics, as well as some<\/li>\n<li>algebraic computer packages,<\/li>\n<li>analyze the possibilities and methods of solving simpler problems with the help of computers,<\/li>\n<li>create and implement websites,<\/li>\n<li>develop simpler programming solutions in different programming languages, both without and with the application of object-oriented and generic techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Learning outcomes that are specific to teaching mathematics and informatics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Diploma holders are able to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>effectively interpret the instructions in the curricula of primary schools when planning lessons in mathematics and informatics,<\/li>\n<li>combine different teaching methods and sources of information with the aim of ensuring the quality of classes in mathematics and informatics,<\/li>\n<li>they use different knowledge evaluation techniques and harmonize them with teaching and learning goals,<\/li>\n<li>implement simple projects in mathematics and computer science.<\/li>\n<li>Generic learning outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Diploma holders are expected to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>develop problem-solving skills,<\/li>\n<li>develop research skills,<\/li>\n<li>are able to successfully communicate their ideas using different media,<\/li>\n<li>use computers in different contexts,<\/li>\n<li>are able to work independently as well as in a team,<\/li>\n<li>they use literature in English and other foreign languages \u200b\u200brelated to mathematics and
